Some interesting things about the tree Dracaena draco (Dragon Tree)

   

Dracaena draco, also known as Dragon Tree or Canary Island Dragon Tree, is a species of tree in the family Asparagaceae. It is an evergreen tree native to the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean region.

Dragon Tree has a characteristic shape with a columnar, upright body and branches at the top. Its body is scaly and has a characteristic gray-brown color. The tree can reach a height of 6 to 12 meters, and under ideal conditions, it can live for hundreds of years.

The leaves of Dracaena draco are long and narrow, dark green and have a close overlapping arrangement. This plant is also capable of developing small, cream-white or pale green flowers, and can even produce fruit that ripens later.

Dracaena draco is a xerophytes plant, i.e. it is adapted to hot and dry climates. It adapts well to xeriscape landscapes and is often grown in gardens or as houseplants with sufficient light and space to grow.
